Today is a good Day!!

sashafierce.jpgHey folks!  Good Day today.  I mean literally Good Day today!  I’m having a good day.  All is well in my world.  I just got a new Blackberry.  I’ve heard all kinds of good things about it.  And so I thought I’d give it a whirl.  I have to say that I’m not at all happy with the tutorial - which is saying a lot.  It took me 2 days and 4 calls to tech support at T-Mobile to down load a new album.  But I finally accomplished this goal and I downloaded I am Sasha Fierceby Beyonce.  I have to say I really love this Album.  And the sound is so remarkable it’s like you can hear her forming the words as she sings them.  So going back to the blackberry.  As of now I give the start-up guide a zero 0 on a scale of five (5) stars.  They really need to go back to the drawing board with their tutorial.  But I give the device itself five (5) stars out of five (5) stars.    The sound quality is superior.  The interaction with the widgets and other software I would give a 1 or 2 out of 5 stars.  Because most of their software is useless to me.  And the media center was NOT intuitive at all.

curve_background.jpgI thought long and hard about which phone to get.  I finally decided the iphone was out because of price.  The blackberry gets excellent comments from it’s users and lets face it - President Obama uses a blackberry.  I was really torn about the G1 phone by google.  I have a friend who uses it and loves it.  I had a hard time deciding which one to go with.  So here is my Master plan.  I’ll try out the blackberry for a while and see if I like it.  If I decide I don’t like it, I’ll switch to the G phone and give my 16 year old son, the blackberry.  I know he’ll like it.

And there you have it.  My new smart phone.

Something else I did today was spend some time with a consultant trying to get the google analytics working on this blog.  The good news is that the consultant told me that I was doing everything right.  The bad news, google analytics still doesn’t work.  I think I may move my blog again –somewhere where I can be sure I can track my stats and use the social networking.  Because they sure don’t work for me here.  Too bad.  I was just getting use to the site for my blog.

I’d appreciate any comments from other bloggers with Today.com and hear if you’re having any luck with the social networking or the google analytics feature..
